New Updates Complete and Pain Cream Available

Our new Effective Pain Relief (EPR) Capsicum Cream is now available. You will find this cream very effective when the directions are followed. This is by no means a cure nor do we endorse the idea that it is. This (EPR) Capsicum Cream is a topical pain relief cream and is effective in relieving pain symptoms when properly used. I have found it very effective in relieving my leg and limb pain as well as arthritis in my hands and joints. Exciting and New Changes

We are pleased to announce the new changes on our web site as we have tried to make it more functional, informational, and more user friendly.

In January our new Pain Defense Cream should be ready for market. It is our hope and desire that this long awaited product will be beneficial to all who use it.

Spring will be our time of new product introduction! We will attempt to bring as many items from our Future Product page into reality, as well as new products that we are formulating at the present time for future introduction into the White Mountain Line.

Proper Limb Maintenance

Starting in December 2007, we will begin production of a DVD training and instructional video on the proper techniques of Patient Maintenance and Limb Care. We are hoping to have a finished copy for distribution by mid-January of 2008 available on our web site and in prosthetic offices around the country.

This training video will feature Mr. Matthew Alberquerque, V.P. of Next Step O & P with offices in New Hampshire, Massachusetts's, and Rhode Island. Below is a short bio of Matt:

Matt Albuquerque is an ABC certified practitioner in orthotics and prosthetics with more than 14 years experience. Matt received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Stonehill College, North Easton, Massachuesetts. He received his orthotic training at Rancho Las Amigos Medical Center through the University of California and his prosthetic training at Northwestern University.

Matt chose this business because of his desire to have an occupation that involved working with and helping people. "The favorite part of my work involves working with children who are in need of our services."

Matt explains that there was a little boy who came from Brazil to receive prosthetic care. "At Next Step, we were able to use our technology and skills to give him a high-performance prosthesis. Today, he plays soccer with all the other boys."

Matt's areas of special interest include pediatric orthotics and prosthetics, with a concentration in lower extremity prosthetics. Matt lives in Bedford, NH with his wife, Kathleen, and their sons, Kyle and Dylan.

We hope and expect this video with Matt and other O & P professionals to be a blessing to all who view and learn from the wisdom and experience which shall be made available.

To date there are seven (7) controlled studies being done around the country with our Limb Defense products. These studies are being conducted by private O & P companies in order to evaluate the products effectiveness in helping their clients with specific limb related issues.

CPO's are very excited to be able to offer hope for their clients, where products were not readily available before to address proper hygiene and skincare in an all natural way.

Frank Antczak of Superior O & P of Tennessee stated that "the greatest enemy of the amputee and in many cases the CPO, is a lack of proper understanding of limb maintenance and hygiene." Many CPO's and Orthopedist still recommend using soap and water on the limb and liner as a precaution, which does not decontaminate the limb or liner of bacterial, fungal, or viral infestation caused by the moist environment of the silicon liner or sleeve. Decontamination is essential if we, as amputees and diabetics, are to avoid many of the future problems that we could face concerning infection and skin breakdowns that arise out of a lack of proper cleanliness. We do preventive maintenance on our homes, automobiles, motorcycles, so why not on our own bodies to avoid many of the pitfalls that could befall us.

It is our hope and desire that this video will benefit many who view it and follow it's recommendations.

Isaiah Desent Sends Donation To Help Reach Amputees!

I would like to tell you about a 14 year old boy who started his own business and sent a portion of his profits to help White Mountain Products reach amputees. He sent me a check for fifty dollars in order to help pay for anything that was needed to help reach more amputees with our products. I want to publiclly thank this young man and am including a newspaper article about him on this Blog, written by the local East Greenwich, RI newspaper.

ATTENTION: We have had our web site recently rebuilt to make the ordering process easier. There were issues arising over the last several months concerning error postings during the ordering process. Being a fairly new company, we were not aware of the many facets of internet marketing and the complexities of this advertising medium. These issues have been corrected, and the site is now more user friendly, functional, and secure.

White Mountain Products Company announces the National Product Launch of it's Limb Defense and Super Skin Defense product lines. Our product launch consist of our first National Advertisement with In Motion Magazine published by the Amputee Coalition Of America.

In Motion Magazine is found in virtually every prosthetic office in our Nation, with many private subscriptions as well. We will begin appearing in the Sept/Oct issue on page 18 with a quarter page ad. We have obligated ourselves to a full year of ads, with a special October edition as a 7th issue. This is a large step of faith for us, but we believe that our products need to be put into the hands of those who need them most. It is our hope to be able to help and assist our fellow amputees, diabetics, and those with skin conditions, through this publication. Our desire is to inform the individual amputee, diabetic, those with skin conditions, as well as prosthetic offices, that there are All Natural Alternative Products available to help deal with the issues each one faces, from infection, skincare, and complications which arise from wearing prosthetic devices. For the average Prosthetic Office, it is a chance to carry a product line that can make a significant difference in the lives of their clients.

These products were developed after the loss of my own right leg (BKA) in 2004. I began experiencing instances of infection, cysts, sores, dry skin patches, irritations, and abrasions. I wanted to find an alternative for myself to antibiotic creams and so on. I had taken so many antibiotics, which are at times very necessary, that I was constantly becoming ill because they compromised my immune system. We must not depend, as the disabled, on those around us for help with our conditions. We must take our liabilities and learn to turn them into assets. We must step out of the shadows and enter into the main arena and take control of our disabilities away from those who consider themselves normal. We understand what we face far more than those who have never experience what we have had to endure. This is not said as a detriment to those whom we need, but as an enhancement to put our lives in the best possible position. We will always need our health professionals, but why should we depend only upon them exclusively, when there is so much talent and creativity amongst ourselves?
